Organizational happiness






Interesting title right? I attnded a course on talent management and the 1st it talks about happiness. Tibet started much2 earlier to survey it's nations Gross National Happiness, what a good thing to do in one country. The buzz word in HC now is Employee Engagement, previously it was Employee Satisfaction, and now should we gauge to Employee Happiness Level? Very interestingly is that happy employee might contribute better to his or her company, but is it so? There's logic there, if they are happy, they'll engage as well as satisfied with the company; if they are engaged, are they happy? If the employees are satisfied, are they happy? So happiness is the highest in rank, therefore, we can say that if employees in an organization are happy, you b et they'll be engaged and satisfied...very interesting!
